Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for reconstruction projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the installation teams and subcontractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the project schedule from start to finish.
• Oversees the jobs which includes the gathering bids, projecting costs to ensure the profitability of the job.
• Responsible for securing unique materials, permits and/or equipment required to complete the project.
• Participate in design, process and permit submittal.
• Ensure projects are on schedule and on budget.
• Request and receive invoices and receipts that will be applied directly to the job.
• Ensure that the job is in a positive cash position prior to ordering additional work.
• Communicate to customers onsite and promote positive customer service experience.
• Respond to property damage emergency calls when necessary.
• Plan, organize and manage crew and subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain client relationships.
• Complete monthly expense reports.
• Attend all appropriate company meetings and training sessions.
• Additional duties required as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years’ experience as a project manager/superintendent, preferably in the restoration industry and/or construction industry.
• General knowledge of the construction industry.
• Proven success in managing reconstruction or construction projects.
• Knowledge of both residential and commercial reconstruction experience.
• Knowledge of mitigation restoration including fire, water and mold is a plus but not necessary.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person).
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable skills essential.
• Ability to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
