SUMMARY: The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of construction projects as well as all reporting requirements requested by Management. This Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Project Director or Senior Project Manager with the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction management project as well as mentoring multiple subordinates. Jobsite responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing, coordinating with, and supervising the work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIVILITEIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Pre-Construction client consultation, including developing rough budgets.
- Where applicable, advising clients on design, and clearly communicating with clients throughout project durations.
- Creating estimates by providing official Construction Proposal, and maintaining accurate cost tracking.
- Creating, maintaining, and conveying the working schedule to the subcontractors and client.
- Supervising of subordinate employees.
- Assisting in the scheduling and supervising of, trade contractors, and materials.
- Ensuring the project is executed efficiently in a safe, clean manner while upholding quality control standards.
- Compiling and sending accurate billings.
- Promptly processing change order requests.
- Maintaining relationship with clients, post-project.
- Building repeat client base.
- Working with designated project accountant to create invoices, track costs, and delivery bills.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or other related field.
· Five (5) years of Construction project management experience.
· Proven ability to delivery projects on time and within budget.
- Proven ability to incorporate and enforce construction quality control standards.
- Ability to read and understand construction document sets.
- Ability to gather information, prepare reports and communicate effectively.
- Demonstration of experience and passion for safety, quality building, and client satisfaction.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to estimate total projects.
- Ability to prepare and update pay requests.
- Ability to
- Ability to prepare, read, and maintain Critical Path Gant Chart Project Schedules.
- Understanding and knowledge pertaining to building codes.
