Mada is currently looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager!

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team in New York City, NY or Cleveland, OH. He/She will oversee development and evolution of a revolutionary retail app on iOS and Android. This person will be planning, coordinating, and launching new app features and system updates using agile methodology. The ideal candidate will have experience with mobile app development, overseeing outsourced contractors and agencies on a day to day basis. This position requires strong knowledge of IOS and Android applications, and excellent communication skills for varied technical experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, implement and launch customer projects according to the specifications and deadlines
  • Assist to define each project’s objectives, create schedules and oversee quality control throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Oversee outsourced management and contractors
  • Oversee budget, invoicing/payments for managed projects

Required Skills:

  • Customer and vendor interaction skills are required – Interpersonal skill competencies include: creative problem-solving, excellent communication (both oral and written), decision making, and conflict management
  • Proactive, organized, self-motivated, and goal oriented
  • Project Management expertise, including project tracking, budget tracking, resource leveling, and use of MS Project Gantt charts
  • Knowledge of LTE, EDGE, GPRS, GPS, Satellite and other wireless technologies. IoT expertise is desired.
  • Past experience as an embedded software developer or hardware developer is a plus, as the expectation is that project manager role is quite strong technically
  • 5+ years of project management experience
