Who We Are
EoCell, Inc. is a startup engineering Advanced Li-ion battery technology. It is a team of experienced scientists and engineers with decades of experience in the battery industry and previous experience with leading research institutions and corporations. Our senior management team has been a key contributor from the design to the manufacturing of PHEV and EV batteries for prestigious brands such as BMW, Volkswagen, and Porsche.
EoCell is looking for an integral member of the Production Management team, a key player in ramp-up, and in sustaining our manufacturing activities. You will own management of assigned production lines adding your leadership support to all facets of production, thus ensuring production goals are continually met. You will use various processes and methods to transform raw materials, components, and parts into finished Lithium-Ion batteries; you will own responsibility for implementing production manufacturing strategy and strategic, operational goals, thereby exceeding customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery; additionally, you will efficiently maximize and optimize production levels while driving operational excellence.
You will also work closely with internal and external key stakeholders regarding technical support for activities, and strive for best-in-class products and business practices. By providing clear leadership and vision, you should inspire, motivate, and mentor staff to achieve excellence and to develop new skills.
What You Will Get to Do
- Be the focal point & leader of the project.
– Leads the project team in the execution of the project.
– Is responsible for the projects SOW, budget & schedule performance
– Represents EoCell to the customer
– Monitors and manages project performance and execution
– Manages projects within the EoCell engineering and operations organization
- Manage all project/jobs concurrently including project milestone planning, budget, execution, timing, functionality, quality, cost, communication, and documentation
- Act as a liaison between key areas (purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing). This includes documenting all orders for the plant and work directly with engineering on drawings, so they understand what is needed from the engineers and are able to interpret it to the manufacturing group
- Manage functional production teams to meet manufacturing KPI’s
- Build internal and external manufacturing process reviews to evaluate manufacturing competencies critical to success
- Responsible for ordering and purchasing of all the materials needed in the timeframe required for the project/job
- Ensure quality of the job is in line with client expectations and communicate those traits to the QC team
- Drive Key Performance Indicators across assigned Manufacturing Operations and ensure all projects are delivered with the highest quality standards
- Attend Management meetings and provide detailed input on the status of production goals
What You’ll Bring
- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent manufacturing management experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial automation
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience with project management tools including Smartsheets and MS Office
- Project Management Institute “PMP” certification or similar certification a plus
- Familiarity with Lithium Battery Systems or equivalent is highly desirable
- Business trip travel onsite to China
