Job Description
The Director of Midwest Medical is responsible for providing leadership, direction, program development and financial oversight for durable medical supplies, retail, respiratory therapy, orthotics / prosthetics and home care services. This includes implementation of the strategic plan, business development, management of personnel and fiscal resources and creating systems to facilitate operations across the Essentia Health system (three states). The individual oversees the DME JCAHO process and all other applicable certification, accreditation and compliance requirements. The position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, coworkers and other healthcare facilities and providers. Work Experience: 5 years management experience in a Durable Medical Equipment organization or health care setting. Experience in a significant leadership role including proven experience and success with implementing significant organizational change, setting performance measurements, establishing budget plans and monitoring process, marketing, relationship building, strategic planning, program / business development and implementation of process improvement techniques.
