Manager, Flowback & Workovers

The Flowback and Workover Manager is responsible for management of the flowback and workover operations of Marcellus and Utica wells to achieve the goals of The Master Operating Schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Personally, work safely and ensure safe work by all contractors, vendors, or anyone on EQT property at all times
• Maintain an Absolute Zero safety environment
• Responsible for managing personnel and activity relating to contractor flowback and workover equipment and personnel
• Responsible for insuring the execution of flowback and workover designs are performed as provided by engineering and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Responsible for supervising field activity and coordinating transition of operations between completions, engineering and, production departments
• Responsible for quality control and budget management of contractor performance and equipment
• Implement continuous improvement of flowback and workover techniques
• Work with production managers to establish policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 8+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with 5+ years of experience in flowback and workovers; previous management experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience for high pressure piping
• Must be a highly safety minded individual
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective problem solving skills
• Ability to manage in a team environment
