IT Project Manager – HHSC (Austin, TX)

Darby Consulting is looking for a IT Project Manager to support the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The purpose of the Pharmacy Branch-Inventory Tracking Electronic Asset Management System (ITEAMS) Replacement project is to replace the existing ITEAMS with an automated solution that is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant and able to integrate with outside systems to trace and track the distribution of Department of State Health Services (DSHS) pharmaceuticals

Project Manager will plan and manage this Major Information Resources Project.

The worker must possess good communication and organizational skills that are critical for the success of the project. The worker must be skilled with risk management and mitigation to balance requirements, scope, and issues while delivering a successful project. The worker will need to possess good mediation skills for dealing with business units with conflicting requirements. The worker must demonstrate past successful projects where the worker guided and a team through a similar project. Experience executing a project where a large Cloud implementation was successful is a plus.

This position is offered as a 1099 contractor role.

• You are able to work Monday to Friday, 8-5pm, in Austin, TX.
• You are willing to accept the maximum pay rate of $100/hr.
• You are able to start within 1-3 weeks of offer.
• You are willing to authorize a background check.
• You must be able to provide a minimum of 3 references.
