As an Insight Deliver Director in Category, Design, Product & Merchandising Analytics (CDPMA), you will drive the insight delivery strategy for either the apparel or merchandising function through close partnership with stakeholders. This role is key to driving data driven decision making and product creation optimization within CDPM.

The successful candidate for this role is digital savvy, a storyteller, knows how to engage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, loves problem solving with data and analysis, obsesses the details, is agile and has a desire to contribute to a wide variety of strategic objectives.

This role will partner with leadership and their teams to develop and implement a proactive framework for delivery of the right insights, using the right data and delivered at the right time. In this role, you will also lead a team of Insight delivery and analytics professionals to prioritize and align delivery against a set of clearly defined objectives and success criteria.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assesses audiences to establish appropriate communication channels and develops content to meet different communication needs, clearly articulating “why it matters”

  • Develops messaging and communications that are tailored to the audience and written in simple to understand, relatable, and authentic way.

  • Owns, drives and creates editorial calendar and content for CDPMA

  • Measures effectiveness and innovates – Solicits feedback and listens to stakeholders to evaluate the communications landscape to generate user-centric updates or new approaches for enhancing communications and culture.

  • Develops and deploys methods for ongoing measurement of communications effectiveness and impact. Uses data and other learnings to propose, test and establish new communications channels, content and tools that support stakeholder needs and organizational goals.

  • Continuously challenges the messaging and channels to keep content fresh.

  • Acts as advisor and subject matter expert to Senior Leaders on appropriate channels and content.

  • Serves as a liaison with other communications teams at Nike, including proactively representing the global or business point-of-view when appropriate

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Design, Communications, Business, Sport Management or related discipline

  • 5+ year experience in high profile Corporate Communications, Brand Communication or Marketing Communications roles supporting globally branded organizations, either agency or in house.

  • Excellent presentation management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Apple Keynote.

  • Ability to develop communications that engage across multiple platforms, i.e. mobile, intranet, video, newsletters, etc.

  • Ability to understand nuanced communications and serve as relationship manager to stakeholders across multiple business units and functions.

  • Exceptional writing skills combined with bias for action, flexibility and attention to detail.

  • Experience successfully working within a matrixed environment with large, complex change initiatives with multiple and opposing priorities

  • Ability to work and collaborate across a large project team

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and under tight deadlines

  • Experience in an agile/scaled agile environment preferred
