Job Description
Position: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is a generalist role with focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, worker’s compensation and employee benefits. The incumbent supports leaders throughout the organization to increase morale and improve the productivity of a growing workforce, both leadership and front line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owns the talent acquisition, hiring and selection processes for the Company;
- Collaborates with leaders to ensure implementation of all Human Resources policies and procedures;
- Plays a critical role in optimizing employee engagement through effective communication, training, benefit package selection and other human resources processes;
- Leads the unemployment insurance programs and processes for the Company for optimal results;
- Leads employee relations activities, including employee investigations and documentation, in compliance with local, state and federal laws;
- Ensures compliance with worker’s compensation processes and programs across the Company;
- Any other duties as assigned by Company Management.
Experience and Education:
Required:
- At least 5 years previous human resources generalist experience with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Previous multi-site experience in a service setting;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Previous experience with human resources information systems (HRIS);
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task to complete responsibilities.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit/stand up for up to a full 8-hour shift, in the performance of the position ;
- Must be able to work with limited supervision under stressful conditions;
- Must be able to use a desk top and lap top computer as well as mobile and desk phone to accomplish duties;
- Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
