HR Director â Philanthropy and Corporate Responsibility

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Responsibility.
What we are looking for:
Responsibilities
Creates and executes on enterprise engagement activities and events that deepen employee engagement and overall enhances the employee experience that positively impact the business- Turns high level concepts into actionable creative strategies and breakthrough concepts that drive business results
- Oversees four (Atlanta, Bloomington, Dallas and Phoenix) Employee Community Centers, known internally as our Link Centers
- Develops the strategies and programs for the Link Centers for employees to connect, engages more deeply in their careers and networks with non-profits
- Develops and executes Diversity and Inclusion strategies for the enterprise; develops and executes initiatives, programs and processes in support of the enterprise Diversity and Inclusion strategy
- Identifies external trends and benchmarks that inform workforce goals and employee engagement
- Builds the State Farm brand within the markets we do business
- Builds strong strategic relationships within the organization and externally with key non-profit organizations and community leaders
- Represents State Farm at charitable, volunteer and community events
- Identifies meaningful volunteer opportunities to engage our employees and agents that build upon the State Farm brand
- Develops and executes Diversity and Inclusion strategies for the enterprise
- Oversees Employee Resource Groups
- Provides thought leadership and direction to business areas related to Diversity and Inclusion
- Leads and supports leadership of managers

Experiences Desired
5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field- 5+ years of experience working in a Non-profit or the Philanthropic field
- 5+ years of leadership/managerial experience
- 7 years minimum managing multi-million dollar corporate philanthropic budgets
- Experience managing and implementing large/complex projects
- Experience in Public Relations/Media relations
- Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity
- Experience in Learning and Development beneficial
Location:
Bloomington, Illinois
This position will be located in Bloomington, IL. Bloomington is the location of State Farm’s Corporate Headquarters and is 2 1/2 hours from Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. Bloomington is a mid-size community; an average 15 minute rush hour commute is a welcome change for those who have fought rush hour traffic in the city. The community is very active and is home to multiple universities including Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University.
