1. Develops, in collaboration with other program managers, develop a comprehensive Child Development Plan that includes Infant/Toddler and Pre-School services.

2. Provides training and technical assistance to the Child Development Coordinators and other program personnel.

3. Uses CHILDPLUS as the Child Development enterprise system.

4. Is responsible for the development and implementation of a School Readiness Plan that includes School readiness goals through parent and staff input, program reviews and local school districts.

5. Approve all lesson plans, that address individualized needs of children and it conforms to the CLASS review.

6. Coordinates all classroom activities in the HS Program including the purchasing of developmentally appropriate equipment, supplies, etc. in accordance to purchasing manual.

7. Work with Special Services Specialist with the development/implementation of a “transitional program” that facilitates parent record transfer, services continuity, information sharing, etc.

8. Work with Regional Management Team in gathering/compiling and interpreting relevant data that will be utilized for the completion of the Program’s Community Assessment.

9. Work with Family Services personnel in surveying and acquiring parental input regarding the development of a Parent Training Plan to address all child development issues, and in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Family Literacy Program.

10. Provide training to center staff in the area of Child Development, including orientation to the Work plan.

11. Conduct regular center visits to assess the implementation of Child Development Program and provide T/TA as necessary.

12. Develop and track information in the Child Development Program for the development of monthly and annual reports and analysis and compile reports for end of year Program Information Report.
