Minimum qualifications:
- MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a strategic role in management consulting firms, marketing strategy or corporate strategy roles.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis and communicating findings to management.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
- Ability to work across teams, build relationships and influence managers.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As the Head of Strategy and Operations for Large Advertiser and Agency Marketing, you’ll be responsible for driving the marketing strategy for how we engage with advertisers externally and then working cross-functionally to execute it. You’re an exceptional strategic thinker who is savvy about Google Ads products and how our customers think about those products in relation to their business.
Your role is part Strategy and part Operations. You will work with teams and collaborate cross-functionally with key leaders across Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product to solve our toughest challenges, lead high priority projects and drive greater operational rigor.
You have exceptional business strategy and operational expertise and excellent people skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Googlers of all levels. Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and represent the Large Advertiser and Agency Marketing team through annual and quarterly planning, strategy and execution.
- Identify and take on ad-hoc strategic projects, everything from defining overall Ads go-to-market strategy to executing cross-functional marketing initiatives. Bring science and data to help establish teamâs priorities.
- Work with Large Advertiser and Agency Marketing Agency Leadership team to coordinate executive-level deliverables. Support the Leadership team.
- Work with Research and Analytics team and conduct data-driven business analytics to support and make recommendations on strategy and investment.
- Evaluate and pressure test Large Advertiser and Agency Marketing performance. Identify opportunities to drive program growth and customer engagement and develop data-driven recommendations for leadership. Improve overall operating efficiency and effectiveness by applying a structured approach to operational processes.
