Head of Digitization Excellence

Position Summary

Leads organization responsible for leading GSC digital transformation across BMS GSC including digital innovation, serialization, master data governance and management, process stewards and ERP strategy for GSC. Responsible for owning the GSC Digital road map.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Owns the application of digital technologies including but now limited to ERP systems but also cloud computing, cognitive computing, advance analytics, machine learning, etc.
• Owns E2E SC master data & maintains and governance for accuracy through thorough measurement and accountability; Ensuring data quality is accurately and visibly reported
• Scans marketplace (both biotech and non-pharma) to continuously identify best-in-class data & information capabilities that can be adapted and leveraged by the organization
• Develop expertise on key digital themes in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing areas, such as End to End Digital Supply Chain, Digital Reliability, Real-Time Process Optimization, Manufacturing 4.0, Digital Shop Floor and Supply Chain 4.0
• Drives standard work and simplification through the E2E supply chain through value-adding CoEs – S&OP, Supply Planning, etc.
• Plays a key integration role across GSC verticals and beyond to ensure coordination and delivery of the GSC transformation program and agenda with respect to the evolution / enhancement of core business processes
• Overall responsible for on time and on budget implementation of the Serialization Program to ensure compliance with all existing and future local Serialization laws and regulations in every market served
• Own the development and implementation of technology platform strategy for ERP and related systems (ie., Serialization, EDI, etc. ) to enable business. Own the development and implementation of GSC digital road map
• Provide operational support to GSC for all system / digital initiatives with community of SMEs and super users

  
  Requirements
  

• Bachelor’s Degree is required in Engineering or Business or Data Science, Information Systems with a Masters or MBA in Operations (preferred)
• ~10-15 years of experience in operations mgmt., technical operations within biotech. Diverse experience from strategic planning, analysis, product launch, supply chain, manufacturing in the biopharma industry
• Organizational agility to quickly identify, align and integrate cross-functional resources into cohesive ad-hoc teams
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly-matrixed environment is essential
• Proven ability to develop and lead a high-performing team across all levels
