About the Role:
As Yelp’s Head of B2B Performance Marketing, you will lead a talented team and be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies across all digital paid advertising and performance marketing channels, including Search, Social, Affiliate/Partnerships, Display/Programmatic, Video, across desktop, mobile web and Apps. You will integrate campaigns across channels and with lifecycle marketing and content marketing channels. You will test and learn rapidly, grow what works and optimize relentlessly, in pursuit of growth and ROI metrics.
Where You Come In:
- You will be responsible for thought-leadership in all things relating to Paid or Performance Marketing, including channel expansion, keywords and audiences, creatives and copy, bidding strategies, landing pages and conversion funnels, tracking, reporting and automation, agencies and tools.
- You will partner closely with other marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure excellent customer experience, and efficient internal operations, and continuous improvement in business results.
- You will own high priority metrics for Acquisition and Retention through paid marketing channels, and multi-million dollar budgets to drive them, and be responsible for building the team, tools and processes you need to crush aggressive goals.
- In this role, you’ll be a vital member of the marketing management team, and part of the core team reporting to the Head of Marketing Channels. Future growth potential for the right candidate includes expansion of scope beyond small and local businesses, or beyond the existing Performance channels.
What it Takes to Succeed:
- You have 7-10+ years of experience in marketing, with 5+ years focused on Performance, incuding CPC Search, Social, Display / Programmatic, Affiliates / CPA Partnerships, and/or Mobile App marketing
- You are passionate about online marketing, with deep expertise in Google and Facebook Ads especially, plus at least 3 more channels
- You have had responsibility for budgets in the $1 – 100MM / year range
- You have demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing teams – an inspiring leader
- You have experience in B2B or B2C marketing, especially small businesses, or B2C marketplaces.
- You have experience at digital companies with a self-service customer acquisition model a plus
- You have very strong analytical mindset, including forecasting and tracking against funnel metrics, daily reporting, A/B testing and thorough analysis (SQL a plus)
- You have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, ability to organize information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners
- You are fluent in web and mobile app tech stacks
- You have an expert understanding of targeting, tracking and attribution technologies
- You are intellectually curious and a quick learner
