Executive Office Project Manager

RAICES is hiring an Executive Office Project Manager to proactively assist the CEO in driving projects, drafting materials and documents, quality assurance and independently overseeing ad hoc strategic projects and analyses.This full-time position will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is based in San Antonio.

RAICES is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost immigration legal services and education to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in Texas. We actively advocate for these individuals and do whatever it takes to assist the immigrant community. With legal services, social programs, bond assistance, and an advocacy team focused on changing the narrative around immigration in this country, RAICES is operating on the national frontlines of the fight for immigration rights.


Job Description:

  • Manages priority projects for the CEO in close coordination with the CEO;
  • Drafts and gathers input to documents and material for the executive office;
  • Collects and assures the quality of information and material requested by the executive office from the organization;
  • Coordinates and organizes key meetings and events;
  • Conducts ad hoc research, analysis, information gathering and projects for the CEO;
  • Drafts presentations for the CEO to a high degree of completion;
  • Assists the EA with calendar and email issues;
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Strong project management skills with at least 2 years project management experience;
  • Experience supporting senior Executives in high-level tasks;
  • Highly organized;
  • Strong writing skills;
  • Strong computer skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain a professional, friendly, and cordial relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners;
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Adaptable to various competing demands with the highest level of customer/client service and response;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications. Proficiency in grammar, spelling and proofreading;
  • Affinity for the mission and vision of RAICES.
