JOB DESCRIPTION:

Exciting opportunity for an Executive Director of Administration / Head of School to join a team that is passionate about bringing positive change and innovative solutions to the school’s administrative management. The Board of Directors is looking for someone that is a proactive leader and a key player in the development and implementation of the vision of the school. This is a new position under the direction of the Board of Directors and in a close working relationship with the School Principal. The Executive Director is responsible for managing finance and accounting, tuition and fee obligations, general administrative, facility administration, legal compliance, grants and government funding, and oversee fundraising.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Represent the school both internally and externally in line with branding strategy
- Financial stewardship of the school including operating and capital budget
- Hiring, managing and training staff and contractors. Negotiating purchase and lease agreements for equipment.
- Administer payroll, oversee contracts and compensation packages
- Oversight of tuition obligations, review of tuition structure and negotiating tuition arrangements
- Establish parent communication systems and develop relationships
- Responsible for transportation services, organizing local/long-distance trips
- Maintain school compliance with safety codes; oversee software and IT requirements
- Develop and manage successful fundraising strategy; building relationships, building fundraising team to organize school events
- Manage and properly utilize local and federal resources to increase school revenue; seek grants and ensure full compliance
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 5 years experience in school administration role
- Encompass managerial and leadership skills to initiate, manage, and lead a forward-thinking organization
- Capability to bring cutting-edge solutions to every aspect of school management.
- Extensive familiarity and knowledge of the Hasidic Orthodox Jewish community (REQUIRED)
- True confident, analytical leader with a high level of intelligence demonstrated through effective problem solving skills, the ability to multitask and make decisions quickly
- Experience meeting stringent compliance requirements
- Proven expertise in organizational development and operations management, strategic and business planning methods, project planning, staffing and coordinating
- Excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics
- Financial acumen and budget management experience
- Innovative and focused leader that can think outside of the box
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year
