EDI IT Manager/Systems Administrator

Jardine Associates is seeking an EDI IT Manager who will be responsible for managing and facilitating the work flow of sales order coming into the EDI system for all accounts. Serves as the prime contact for order related activities and is responsible for effectively managing the sales order EDI process. Position will be based onsite in North Kingstown, RI. Serve as prime contact for EDI order related activities for Company. * Build and maintain business relationships with customers through multiple communication channels. * Work with associates, especially Sales and Operations, within the Company achieve optimal customer satisfaction. * Input new order request and manage modifications and cancellations for both manual and electronic orders communications. * Ensure appropriate delegation of authority is documented and followed and perform all duties in compliance with company policies and procedures. * Facilitate actions between multiple departments to meet customer specific needs. * Inform sales team and operations/planning team of current customer activity and order statuses as appropriate. * Responsible for accurate customer address and contact information as well as keep customer specific requirements file updated. * Participate in both internal and external order management audits. * Analyze the Company’s needs through the programming and development of the system or enhancing the current system, and monitoring the electronic transactions daily. * Work towards reducing the risks of system glitches and reacting quickly to resolve issues in a timely manner. * Design and develop a system that will allow transactions and information exchange with customers and vendors. * Set up systems for new accounts and update and enhance interactions with existing accounts. * Utilize EDI mapping tools and cross-reference tables to keep accurate records of all transactions. * Responsible for all B2B applications, including onboarding new partners, upgrading existing setups, patch installs, business process review, new platform integration w/ EDI, communications and successful processing of all transactions. * Support business applications and departments related to EDI processing / interfaces. * Responsible for development and ongoing maintenance / enhancements of B2B business processes and EDI transactions. * Prioritize new EDI account requests including initial discussion, requirements definition, design, development, support. * Manage multiple projects, EDI account implementations and timelines. * Monitors and Reviews account requirements, mapping, and interfaces to business applications. * Conduct testing with accounts and integrates new customers into EDI processes per implementation standards. * Communicates with users and management on system and process capabilities as well as system and program design of new applications or integration of EDI into existing applications. * Maintains existing account profiles and mappings while working with internal customer demands and interface applications. * Trains and educates groups and/or individuals on use and utilization of systems & business processes associated EDI / electronic commerce. * Researches and understands new technologies with vendors, techniques and account initiatives; determines benefits to company and develops best practices that can be integrated and supported. * Evaluates and recommends new electronic commerce software and/or upgrades to improve efficiencies and customers’ experiences and system upgrades.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
