To continue our growth path, we are currently searching for a Director of Business and Development to generatenew business opportunities and build client relationships. This individual will identify prospects through a mixture of cold calling, networking and trade show participation, engaging potential clients in a consultative selling process. The Director of Business and Development will also develop and implement a marketing program to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
What you will be doing:
- Identify and contact potential clients and participate in events such as trade shows, seminars, and conventions
- Develop strong client relationships and deep understanding of business challenges to position for account growth
- Research, develop and implement marketing strategies to remain competitive
- Direct all marketing and media initiatives
- Update and maintain Company?s website to generate additional leads
- Manage all strategic and operational marketing and client relationship activities.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership
What you need to qualify for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Marketing and sales experience required
- Experience selling software is a plus
- Ambitious and upbeat self-starter who can work under minimal supervision
- Friendly/Outgoing demeanor that can relate to marketplace needs
