Entercom is seeking a Director of Brand Partnerships within our National Client Partnership team. This position involves working in a high-energy, fast paced environment and developing/selling high-impact, integrated sponsorship programs across our live events & entitlements platforms.
This successful sponsor sales professional is on the front lines meeting with high-level marketing & sponsorship decision makers, determining company’s marketing needs, sharing our capabilities, and providing effective marketing solutions to fit their objective(s). This position has a thorough knowledge of event marketing, branded integration, and building effective ROI strategies.
This position is located in our New York office, estimated travel 60-70%, reports into our National Client Partnership team with a dotted line to our SVP Entercom Events & Experiences
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Create, package and sell solution-based sponsor programs across our tentpole live events & entitlement portfolios
- Meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identify and cultivate brand partner opportunities within targeted accounts
- Proactively prospect & maintain new sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with important decision makers at client/brand level & their agencies
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with top experiential agencies
- Create compelling & creative sales presentations uniquely designed to meet our client’s specific needs and provide effective solution(s)
- Effectively manage the proposal/closing process (pricing, packaging, negotiating, value determination)
- Account tracking & reporting
Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS degree
- 3-5 years’ experience in experiential/integrated, multi-platform sales; proven track record, a GO GETTER
- Understands the difference between sponsorship value vs pure media
- Driven, high energy, and passionate about music/entertainment
- Self-starter, creative, outstanding work ethic, able to prioritize & manage multiple projects at one time
- High-courage, ability to open doors, secure high level meetings with key decision makers
- Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture client relationships
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Demonstrates strategic approach when developing client marketing plan
- Communicates effectively with internal team(s) for successful program fulfillment
