A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.

Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Scrum Master, working in a scaled environment across multiple scrum teams (4-5 teams minimum) at one time.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) & SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • Ability to travel 100% Monday – Thursday on a weekly basis throughout the United States.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 Certification from the below list:

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
    • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
    • ICAgile Certified Expert (ICE)
    • Certified SAFe Agilist (SA)
    • Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
    • Certified SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)


Preferred Skills

Hands on experience or knowledge of:
  • Scrum of Scrums / Complex ecosystem
  • Agile tooling suite background (i.e. Jira and Confluence, Rally, Agile Central)
  • In-depth Agile knowledge
  • Driven and proactive
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Experience working with distributed Agile teams
  • Continuous improvement & team maturity


Professional Skill Requirements

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
