Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) is seeking a talented Certified Scrum Master with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and facilitate scrum teams utilizing Agile concepts such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
• Develop and maintain sprint backlog using JIRA
• Must coordinate efforts of team members and schedule ad hoc meetings as necessary in order to complete sprint objectives
• Ensure sprint objectives and integrated master schedule milestones are aligned
• Ability to communicate effectively with scrum team and remove impediments; must know when to raise issues/impediments to management
• Communicate effectively with client on a daily basis in order to ensure JIRA tickets are progressing to completion
• Ability to identify issues, risks, and roadblocks; create risks responses and mitigations
• Must be organized; maintain and update documentation and reports

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as Certified Scrum Master
• PMP is a plus
• Good understanding of Agile practices, processes and ceremonies
• Experience using JIRA
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle
• Prior experience working scrum teams of 5-10 team members
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction from supervisors or clients

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
