Accounts Receivable Manager – Medicaid and Private

Purpose of Position:

Contribute to the financial success of the organization with regards to Medicaid collections and private pay responsibilities. To assist in maintaining an optimal and orderly cash flow by overseeing timely and accurate Medicaid billing for all revenues owed to the organization. To support the organization by overseeing proper payment posting and accurate resident accounts.


Responsibilities:

  • Support and collaborate with other AR Managers to create a dynamic team through appropriate information sharing, identifying, and participating in training opportunities both individual and team, as well as leader development opportunities.
  • Develop, support, and coach team members to build and retain high caliber performers.
  • Remain organized while successfully managing and engaging multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring quality goals are met.
  • Maintain knowledge and remain current on Skilled and Long Term Care billing requirements to serve as problem resolution to ensure Billing Division stays proactive on industry changes.
  • Implement accountability and maintain high standards for the team in accordance with the Finance and Touchstone scorecards.
  • Customer focused every day by being approachable to all internal and external customers along with team members. Build rapport through availability and meeting expectations.
  • Maintain motivation for self and team members while willing to take on extra responsibilities as needed, in addition to embracing a collaborative environment.
  • Effectively deal with change, take initiative in the identification and resolution of gaps created from change, and hold self and others accountable for consistency during all periods, specifically those including significant change.
  • Recommend and implement innovations and efficiencies to maximize cash flow.
  • Support and foster relationships with Communities, Regional Teams and Finance Departments, and maintain other third party relationships. Represent Trident and Touchstone Communities utilizing the purpose mission and vision as a guide during interactions.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Long Term Care billing, or experience as a supervisor in Billing and Collections in a relatable setting such as hospital, etc.
  • Previous supervision of a completer, web based applications, billing software (s), TMHP and CMS applications, 10-kay and common office equipment required.
  • Experience successfully working and contributing in a team environment of 5 or more team members, understanding of HIPPA requirements, and exception personal and phone communication skills is all required.
