Responsibilities
- Work with the team to solve client business problems by translating them into an analytics problem solving framework
- Should be able to lead end-to-end analytics project (Project Deliverables, Team Management, Client Management, Governance, Storyboarding)
- Individual is expected to have extensive hands on experience in data modelling and data analytics tools like Python, SQL and good knowledge in advanced analytics / Machine learning / statistical / data mining / Text mining techniques in Regression or classification
- Analyze structured and unstructured data from a number of drivers in the interest of solving specific questions/problems with processes in the various functional areas
- Individual is expected to contribute to Strategic Initiatives within Analytics practice
- Develop and maintain a relationship with business stakeholders
- Individual is expected to maintain high standards of quality for all deliverables
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, computer engineering or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement.
- 5+ years of consulting, analytics delivery experience
- Very strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and complex customer problems required
- Good knowledge of text mining in Python
- Good understanding of insurance industry (Life, Disability & Voluntary Benefits)
- Willing to work 1-11 pm, IST
- Good communication skills – should be able to converse fluently in English
