As the Director of Health Analytics you will drive analytics strategy and execution that support the roll-out of CVS Health Hubs Transformation. Your core responsibilities will include:

1) Lead high visibility analytics projects focused on key strategic priorities of Health Hubs Transformation, current examples include:
a. Test and learn strategy: design and implement test and strategy to measure effectiveness of different products and services being offered in Health Hubs including intervention design, measurements strategy, data and reporting solutions;
b. Clinical and consumer intervention design: develop an approach to identification, engagement and intervention to key consumer groups with the goal of using Health Hubs innovative suite of services to improve their health outcomes and reducing long term cost of care;

c. Product and service optimization: optimize a portfolio of products and services being offered in each Health Hub.
2) Manage cross functional teams of solution strategists, data scientists, data engineers as well as business and IT stakeholders to enable seamless delivery of analytics projects.
3) Build and manage relationships with multiple business partners within Health Hubs Transformation, CVS Retail, technology and IT organizations.
4) Mentor and develop people, contribute to improvement of strategy and operations of Enterprise Analytics team.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience leading advanced analytics and strategy engagements with a top tier consulting firm or fortune 500 company.
  • Executive level consulting experience in translating business problems across disciplines into advanced analytic projects with measurable business value combined with ability and experience to work closely with the individual contributors to efficiently translate plans into reality.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with non-analytic business partners, including executive leadership, in order to elicit business needs and formulate, propose and refine analytic solutions in order to meet the business needs and to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements and business value.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and data presentation skills, with ability to tailor the communication style to the right audience, from the analytic professional to the senior business leaders.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to lead and engage in multiple projects and initiatives and appropriately prioritize her/his own time as well as that of the direct reports.
  • Proven experience working across multiple business areas such as operations, finance, sales, product, and strategy.


Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and CVS Health business model, including patient and payer concerns, as well as the operational considerations in support of the business objectives and analytics experience within the retail and/or healthcare industries is highly preferred.

Solid understanding and hands on experience with a variety of analytic processes and techniques, including health economics outcomes research, measurement methodologies development, hypothesis testing, statistical significance testing, modeling and machine learning is highly preferred.

Education
Advanced Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
