This position serves to provide strategic and administrative support to the division of Enrollment Management and the Vice Provost. This role will manage short and long-term strategic objectives and projects for the division. The individual will support enrollment strategic planning efforts and communication efforts for the division to provide proactive assistance in all day-to-day operations.
In summary, this position ensures the Enrollment Management division is engaged in the most value-added activities, strategic planning, and that special projects are receiving much-needed support to ensure university enrollment goals have a high probability of being achieved.
This position reports to the VP for Enrollment Management and maintains an essential information flow with all Directors in the division.
This is a benefited, term position with an anticipated appointment of three years, with continuation or renewal contingent upon satisfactory job performance and future availability of funding for the role.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in executive support and project management.
- Extremely strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize high volumes of information and interpret effectively for senior management purposes.
- Demonstrate initiative as well as the ability to identify and solve problems. Take ownership of projects while representing the interests of the division.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet frequent and concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously while exercising critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to function well individually as well as part of a team.
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Experience in a related area of higher education enrollment management, such as admissions.
- Proficiency in Excel, presentation software, data analytics, and/or graphic design

Duties / Responsibilities
Enrollment Management Strategic Planning:
-Develops and implements methods of measuring and stimulating division performance within Enrollment Management. -Produces ad-hoc deliverables critical to leadership decision-making.
-Develops dashboard reports and project tracking models to measure the impact of metrics over time, creating an organizational habit of data-driven decision making and strategic planning with respect to the management of university enrollment. -Supports short and long term enrollment planning efforts.
Communication:
Tracks and communicates with internal and external stakeholders related to the division’s efforts coordinating interests and resources according to the Vice Provost’s vision. Disseminates and facilitates direction to division members on behalf of the Vice Provost.
- Executive Support:
- meeting, presentation, and report preparation,
- scheduling strategically both internally and externally,
Ensures the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management’s success through proactive assistance including
– managing competing interests to advance the division’s short and long-term priorities.
Hire and supervise the office’s administrative support (work-study students).
Project Management:
Manages special projects to advance the division. Travel to various campus and off-campus locations to attend meetings and events as needed.
