The VP of Sales Operations has primary accountability for the operation and performance of Retail Sales including market development, compliance and growth as will also be responsible for the oversight of the organizationâs Agency Operations function. This role will direct and coordinate the Retail organizationâs financial and operational activities to achieve expected budgeted targets maximizing revenue and increasing efficiency. The VP Sales Operations will serve in an omni-channel leadership capacity, influencing decision making for E-Commerce and directly supervising both the Regional and Call Center leadership teams.
This role is accountable for:
STRATEGY/EXECUTION
- Construct, implement and achieve strategic plan and budget to grow revenue and profitability that align with company goals and objectives
- Establish and report sales forecasting by appropriate breakdown (store, region, district, call centers
- Develop and communicate key metrics and goals for stores, regions, districts and call centers holding each accountable for achievement
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities to help identify trends and capitalize on valid opportunities
OPERATIONS
- Identify process improvement opportunities throughout area of responsibility in practices, processes, data management systems through collaboration with others to improve efficiencies
- Monitor expenditures to ensure the proper allocation of resources and to identify areas for cost reduction
- Ensure compliance within area of responsibility regarding company policies and applicable regulations

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Hands on multi-unit/multi-state operational experience (managing 50+ locations)
- Previous experience implementing policies, procedures and compliance
- Experience in coaching and training direct reports
- Knowledge of marketing and driving outside sales
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple task/projects
- Performance driven mindset
- Ability to travel a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week
- Clean driving record
- Safety conscientious
Education & Experience
- A four-year college degree in an applicable field of study enhanced by 7-10 years of multi-district/regional management responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
