Overview
The growing Team at ISHPI is searching for a Sr. Proposal Manager.
- As directed, leads and/or supports the identification, pursuit, and capture of strategic long-term and tactical short-term business opportunities with DoD and other the Federal Government agencies. Supports the Bid/No-Bid process and manages the proposal development process following a positive Bid decision.
- Works closely with Program Directors to develop bid strategies, position the company to increase Win Probability, and manage the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award.
- Maintains pipeline of strategic opportunities and presents opportunity capture briefings during regularly scheduled and ad hoc business development meetings.
- Develops capture planning briefing packages for Directors, gathering information and researching customer, opportunity scope and requirements, incumbent contract, competitor, and potential teammate information.
- Works closely with company leaders, technical Program and Project Managers, technical writers, and corporate Proposal Center resources to execute proposal development tasks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing and/or performing all proposal development / management tasks associated with the submission of winning proposals,
- to include: win theme development; proposal planning and scheduling; proposal kick-off briefings;
- proposal outline and compliance matrix development and maintenance; daily task status tracking;
- coaching and supporting technical writers; technical writing and editing; developing graphics and exhibits; processing and formatting proposal documents;
- scheduling and facilitating meetings and color team reviews;
- incorporating color review comments and addressing recommendations for improvement;
- maintaining file configuration control; and creating and maintaining corporate SharePoint proposal site for each managed opportunity.
- Also responsible for overseeing interaction and communication with teammate proposal development personnel and directing their efforts as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelorâs degree in related field
- One â three (1-3) years of directly related experience in defense contracting environment
