The purpose for this role is to support the business goals and objectives through efficient, effective and comprehensive project management solutions, focused on organizational projects. Plans, conducts and provides project management expertise to multiple projects of major importance and difficulty where the scope, complexity, risk, and investment involved requires the broad application of advanced knowledge. Supplies project management advice and counsel to other professionals.

  • Act as strategic business partner with key stakeholders to define desired organizational outcomes and develop the appropriate business cases and deliverables, including key performance indicators.
  • Influence business decisions by providing recommendations rooted in expertise and organizational understanding.
  • Undertake a leadership role on cross-functional teams to develop project plans, forecasts/budgets, and timelines (milestones).
  • Deliver comprehensive tracking and monitoring for project team using project management expertise and software.
  • Participate or lead development of implementation plans inclusive of change management, training and sustainability.
  • Identifies opportunities for business process improvements within project scope.
  • Actively apply risk management to projects and escalate and mitigate significant deviations.
  • Monitor and report project team activities against project plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope.
  • Employ advanced communication tools to ensure that all project customers are informed of project status.
  • Facilitate project team meetings with agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Assure that project support activities of functional teams are aligned with the project plan.
  • Work with Finance and Functions to build budgets and monitor actual vs. expected spend.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with 7 years of Relevant Experience or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15yrs; Assoc.+11yrs; M.S.+4yrs; PhD+3yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in: -Operations Management and Execution -Project Management -Cross-Unit Collaboration -Functional Breadth -Cross-Cultural Experience
  • MBA preferred
