Sodexo is looking for an energetic Patient Transport /Guest Services Manager for UNC Hospitals located in Chapel Hill, NC . This is a 900 licensed bed facility, that will report into the General Manager. Overall, will support day-to-day operations of the Patient Transportation and Guest Services departments. This role will oversee a team of 60, supporting 2 nd Shift (split shift schedule) for a very busy account. The successful candidate will possess experience working with and building Epic systems, managing Guest Services and transport teams, and a proven ability to utilize and implement the Unit Operating System for the Service Response Center. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of leadership and frontline employees.

Position Summary

Provides oversight and management for two or more of the following services: Transport, Concierge and/or Service Response Center (SRC). Ensures systems and standards equity for all automated systems. Assumes Operations Manager/ General Manager’s responsibility and authority in his/her absence. Hires and trains unit personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement – Associate’s Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience – 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in functional areas such as call center technology, computer applications, process improvement, or related areas
