The mission of Porsche Digital is to spark excitement and create value through digital engineering. The team works on game-changing ideas, from technological experiments to products that could become Porsche’s next business. We leverage design, customer research, and engineering, to identify new ideas, build MVPs, and ultimately influence business leaders to invest in new opportunities outside of Porsche’s core business. Our locations in Germany, China, Israel, and USA give us unique capabilities to identify and execute the most promising ideas. The team in Silicon Valley focuses on customer facing digital products and venture investments.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will function as the CEO for your product with the responsibility of maintaining its vision while orchestrating the team to bring that vision to reality. As such, you will also be the champion for your product in both internal and external facing communications. Your goal is to identify, build, and launch new revenue generating products for Porsche, that also create value in the eyes of our customers. Your involvement will span across all aspects of the product development process including customer research, ideation, business planning, project management, procurement, marketing, legal, and operations. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a product leading its development as a general manager/co-founder/owner would
- Build and maintain relationships with a complex set of stakeholders across Porsche’s global team
- Perform market research to identify strategic growth opportunities adjacent to Porsche’s core business
- Create new product concepts through ideation and co-creation
- Develop business cases and champion new product ideas to secure project funding
- Define and execute MVP’s, that efficiently evaluate desirability, viability and feasibility
- Align a team of researchers, designers, and engineers to guide the evolution of new product ideas through all phases of product development from concept through market launch
- Create, track, and manage budgets as well as work plans to ensure on-time completion of deliverables
- Define product roadmaps and success metrics to manage stakeholder expectations
- Anticipate bottlenecks and make tradeoffs to balance business, technical, and operational constraints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building, launching and maintaining digital consumer products/services in a product management/ product ownership role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, design, or engineering
- A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to shape a compelling story about the problem you’re solving and the vision you’re reaching for, combined with the ability to dive into the details
- Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other graduate degree with a focus in entrepreneurship or innovation
- Passion for and experience in new and emerging business models, technologies and products
- Experience taking digital products or offerings through their entire lifecycle
- Experience working for a luxury or premium lifestyle brand
- Experience working with executives to evaluate and invest in new products and areas of opportunity
- Experience working with an automotive OEM
