Who We Are
Praxis Laboratory is a rapidly growing I-502 certified lab, that leads the industry in quality control, method development, and innovation. Praxis is a division of the Institute of Food Safety & Defense. This position will work with both I-502 clients and non I-502 clients.
Schedule
This position is full time Monday thru Friday. Weekends, evenings and overtime as required.
What youâll be doing
Effectively manage the daily operations of the laboratory in order to exceed production goals while developing lasting, trusted client relationships.
- Collaborate with clients and internal employees to create new tools and processes which make client experiences increasingly productive and positive.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and laboratory information
- Answer and direct phone calls as well as other administrative tasks per Laboratory Director’s request.
- Coordinate with the Logistics Specialist to direct sample courier activities and sub-contracting efforts to enable the timely completion of project-related deliverables.
- Ensure client-requested timelines, changes, etc. are communicated to the Logistics Specialist, the Sample Management Specialist, and the affected Division Supervisors.
- Track the progress of all laboratory production efforts and advise clients and the Laboratory Director of any scheduling conflicts, possible delays, or other issues that arise.
- Review assigned project worksheets daily
- Work with the Quality Manager and Division Supervisors to resolve questions on data integrity and/or accuracy.
- Prepare case narratives.
- Review reports/electronic data as necessary prior to report release.
- File completed worksheets, sample reports, CoC forms, etc.
- Update the LIMS with client project specifications and issue new sample reports in cases where changes are needed.
- Resolve any questions or issues that clients may have with regard to services, especially price quotations, reports, and result interpretation.
- Assemble requested data packages in accordance with company and client protocols.
- Prepare and review invoices prior to release.
- Provide timely support and response to daily requests of clients and coworkers.
- Work directly with the Quality Manager to train the Logistics Specialist and Sample Management Specialist on updated procedures and to provide them with continuing role development resources.
- Perform miscellaneous support and IT functions for the divisions as requested by members of the Management Team.
- Make accurate forecasts of sample and revenue estimates and assist with contract renewals, client visits, etc. as needed.
- Provide sales leads
- Maintain and update the Services List, the Customer Service Issue Log, the Customer Feedback Survey/Results, and other client-based documents and performance metrics with the help of the Quality Manager.
- Inform the Laboratory Director of any problems regarding work-flow, workload or equipment issues.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be added at the discretion of the Management Team.
