- Manages projects, ensuring safety, reliability, environmental and human impacts are mitigated
- Works with business development and assist in the development of commercial and technical proposals
- Defines and prepares job scopes and cost estimates to be delivered for assigned projects
- Develops detail project execution plans, project controls plan, quality plans, subcontracting plans, procurement plans and project organizational charts
- Drives the development and updates of project schedules, levels 1,2,3 and 4 for the different phases of project execution
- Creates, maintains and approves project specific documentation (deliverables) for formal issue.
- Ensures project standards are being met
- Drives and maintains change management
- Anticipates, manages and resolves issues within the contract or packages
- Ensure project is progressing on schedule and within budget
- Identify project risk and mitigations
- Drives and supports the development and issuance of Construction Work Packages
- Develops and presents monthly reports that include budgeted, Actual and Forecasted monthly cash flow Maintain effective communications with all stake holders
- Communicates the project status and developmental activities to Client, Senior Management and Stake Holders
- Provides corrective action when the project is not being progressed as planned.
- Manages the development and issuance of Invoices
- Assesses qualifications of key resources and confirm staffing requirements are met and identify any personnel shortfalls
- Provide leadership to a diverse project team and drive teamwork approach to project execution
- Be a mentor and help develop team members to progress
- Ensure all deliverables required have been developed and issued in accordance with the contractual requirements
- Act as a mentor to all on the project team and show commitment to meeting high expectations and commitments.
- Establishes and maintain communication and effective working relationships of the project team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree (B. S.), or Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in engineering in any discipline from a four-year college or university
- 10+ years’ related experience and/or training, specifically in large-scale EPC projects
