- Serves as a Project Management Section Chief and works under the general administrative direction of the Assistant Chief, Programs and Project Management Branch.
- Directs the development, preparation, and submission of Civil Works programs and program data for budgetary proposals and changes
- Oversees presentation and defense of the annual and multi-year civil works programs.
- Prepares budgetary reports and provides timely advice and support to the Chief of Programs and Project Management Branch and Deputy District Engineer.
- Analyzes, reviews, and recommends civil works programming activities, exercising responsibility for the interpretation of Director’s Policy Memos, implementation guidance and directives.
- Directs preparation, approval, and updates of Project Management Plans for all active projects in the district, which become the blueprint for carrying out the district’s Project Management program.
- Monitors program progress, evaluates performance, determines causes for deviations from schedules, and coordinates with program managers and project managers to implement necessary program changes and funding adjustments.
