Description
We are looking for an innovative leader to plan, direct, and control all credit union activities in accordance with credit union directives established by the board of directors. This position is responsible for ensuring financial stability and member satisfaction commensurate with the best interests of the members, employees, and the credit union. This position provides strategic direction, vision, leadership, and management in all functional areas.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience. The full range is $95,000 to $115,000. Bonuses are tied to credit union performance and the attainment of goals. We offer excellent benefits including paid holidays, paid time off, health, dental, and life insurance.
About Foundation Credit Union
Foundation Credit Union was established in 1933 as Springfield Teachers Credit Union. It served teachers and employees of school systems. In 2012, the credit union expanded its membership to the community and changed its name. As Foundation Credit Union, it was able to add new services, while retaining personal relationships with its members. Foundation CU membership now includes any person living or working in the Missouri counties of Greene, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Lawrence, Polk, and Webster. Membership is also open to immediate family members of current members. Products include checking and savings accounts, car loans, mortgage loans, personal loans, certificates of deposit, and safety deposit boxes. With two locations serving Springfield, we provide outstanding customer service with a local, hometown approach. The credit union has assets totaling $65 million and provides banking services to more than 3,000 members.
Required Education, Experience, Training, Certification, Licensing, and Background
- Valid driver license
- Five to ten years of credit union experience
- Four to five years of management experience in a credit union
- Two years of executive management experience, preferably in the last five years
- Graduation from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution with, minimally, a bachelorâs degree in business administration or finance or equivalent experience
- Must be bondable at time of hire and remain bondable throughout tenure with the credit union
- Clean background with no felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or a history of repeated offenses
