Responsibilities:

- Provide labour law expertise and guidance to different stakeholders while ensuring the operations being up-to-date and in compliance with the law
- Prepare payroll data and act as the main point of contact for local payroll, health insurance and pension providers
- Create employee documents such as contracts, reference letters, employment confirmations
- Communicate with new hires regarding contracts and onboarding topics
- Coordinate with other departments on various onboarding tasks
- Organise and manage physical and digital employee files
- Manage employee benefit programs
- Provide insights into best practices in terms of personnel training and development
- Drive improvement of processes to make the work of our team more effective
- Assist the Expansion Team with regard to the employment regulation when setting up new international offices

Requirements:

- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Administration
- 2+ experience as People Operations Manager or a similar position
- Knowledge of the US labour law and proven experience in the area
- Extremely organised and excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Knowledge of Canadian labour law in a plus
