This position is responsible for working with the VP of Marketing on branding/marketing campaigns, management of various social media accounts and coordinating requests from team members at Raw Seafoods Inc.
Responsibilities and Duties
Requirements: Previous marketing/advertising experience is required; knowledge of seafood and/or perishable food industry is a bonus. Ideal candidate will have experience with consumer insights, be current on emerging communication platforms, experienced with digital media campaigns/promotions, excellent phone communication skills, great organizational skills, and excellent writing skills. Individual must be very detail oriented, self-motivated, highly organized and conscientious on follow through.
Responsibilities include:
- Support strategy developing and/or review content for social media and digital marketing.
- Manage company social media accounts through various platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.
- Manage digital marketing and creative agencies (Social media agency, web management, design, promotional items, etc)
- Assist in the research, planning and execution of marketing campaigns and projects, along with tracking key performance metrics
- Assist in delivering professional customer marketing presentations (some travel required)
- Draft press release(s) to conduct media relations
- Track and record marketing/product promotional spend, ensuring all supporting documents have been received and is within budget
- Responsible for fulfilling requests from internal departments, including but not limited to: sourcing product samples, market research, gathering data, etc.
- Monitor seafood trends and industry news and provide summary based on findings in a current fashion (creating blogs, and email newsletters)
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent in fields of Communications, Journalism, Business/Marketing or related disciplines
- At least 1-2 years of digital/social media and/or copying writing related experience, preferably in a CPG organization or food and beverage industry
- Excellent verbal, presentation and communication skills, and a strong ability to collaborate and partner are required
- Experienced and passionate about social media (i.e. Facebook and Instagram)

Salary: $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
