The daily process of valuing portfolios requires a detailed knowledge of the products being traded by our customers and the strategies they pursue. You will play an important role in contributing to the team’s goal of monitoring Firm exposure to our customers across the Institutional Equities, Prime Brokerage and Private Wealth Management businesses.

You will be responsible for ensuring all positions and valuations are accurate, that correct requirements are being charged in accordance with the clients’ strategies, and that all margin calls are issued and met in full.

You will be expected and empowered to think about what your clients are trading, and to actively challenge things which do not make sense.

The businesses we support rely on our team to manage and highlight operational risk in the margin process. We are the last line of defense in a market or client crisis. You will form part of this defense.

As you progress through the role, you will also have the opportunity to support your team managers with carrying out supervisory functions and driving forward specific projects. The team contains a strong change management and product development mandate. In the constantly moving world of financial markets, we are engaged in a rolling program of change designed to challenge the status quo and keep us and our customers at the cutting edge of the industry globally.
