We are new state licensed facility looking for a highly competent and positive individual to oversee and implement the overall mental health treatment program. We are looking for positive role models with healthy boundaries and outgoing personality to work with youth who have been experienced drug/alcohol addiction, sexual and physical abuse and/or related traumas.

The Head of Services must have all the following education and experience qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school, as defined by the Department of Education, in social work or social welfare, marriage, family and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology or social psychology.
- Completion of at least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency at the Master’s Degree level.
- At least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families, or 18 months experience in working with children and families.
- At least three semester units in working with minority populations; six months of experience in working with minority population; or six months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment.
- At least three semester units in child welfare, or two years’ experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting.
The Head of Services must have all the following qualifications:
- Ability to create and maintain Needs and Service plans
- Crisis Intervention strategies and training.
- Clear Live Scan background check or Current Criminal Exemption.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certifications
- Knowledge of Community Care Licensing and CARF regulations.
- Have at least one year of therapeutic experience working with adolescents.
The HOS duties will include:
- Facilitate acceptance of new residents. Interview each resident entering the program and provide orientation.
- Prepare Needs and Service Plan and/or TILP for each resident assigned, in conjunction with the referring agency.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certifications
- Provide staff training.
- Facilitate acceptance of new residents. Interview each resident entering the program and provide orientation.
- Develop a Discharge/Exit plan for each resident prior to their completion in program.
- Make any modifications necessary to either the Needs and Services Plan or the Discharge/ Exit Plan.
- Under therapist responsibility, he/she’s will hold a License in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Clinical supervision of Residential Therapists.
