The Finance Director is expected to improve the economic value of the organization by proactively improving business processes, including budgeting and forecasting, implementing and sustaining internal controls, analyzing and reporting results, managing capital, and advising on significant operational.

Job Activities:
- Establishing annual operational objectives and measurements in support of Cost Management, Performance Measurement and Internal Reporting.
- Oversee all financial forecasting and reporting and adapts reporting with changes in Business Unit needs.
- Develops continuous improvement culture with intention to deliver sustainable process improvements.
- Oversee budgeting and assess operational performance against both the annual budget and long-term strategy.
- Owns all financial business modelling activities (eg price/volume analysis, perimeter changes, structure changes, integration, etc.)
- Ensure all financial systems are aligned with WW Bostik, Converting and Durable GBU’s, and current / future acquisitions
- Ensures the correct application of Arkema Finance, Accounting, & Control procedures and internal control in the BU. Maintains internal control safeguards and compliance with Standards of Common Practice and Procedures.
- Manage TWC. Develop forecasting and reporting mechanisms to meet operating needs.
- Involved with all Financial M&A modelling and due diligence. Own transactional integration of BU activities.
- Manage and track the performance of Capital Expenditures keeping with established policies and investment guidelines.
- Mentor and develop the Business Unit Finance Team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
- Manages (can be shared) all financial resources in NA BU’s including controllers from acquisitions
- Proactively analyses results, defines opportunities for improvement, and leads cross-functional initiatives.
- Assess operational performance against the annual budget & advise corrective actions if necessary
- Establish (in conjunction with Business Team Leaders), and track monthly KPI’s
- Report out analyses to the WW and local Business Teams
- Prepare required reporting formats, templates and presentations…CEO / BOD level required
- Manage BU month end close process – full P&L and related balance sheet accounts
Job Dimensions:
- Direct reporting to Regional Business Director and collaboratively supports two different Business Units; Industrial Converting and Durable Goods.
- Dotted line responsibility to Global BU Controller
- Manages direct reports – Sr. Business Analyst
- Contributes through strong partnership with Business Unit management team.
Context and Environment:
- Occasional travel domestically and internationally as needed – approximately < 10%
- May require working outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines
- Supports the site EHS policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
- Participates in EHS activities provided by site management and Bostik, Inc. (e.g., Puresafety, etc.)
- Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
- Practice safe work habits, in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Bostik specific EHS requirements

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Masters Degree in Business and CPA or equivelent experience
- 5+ years at an executive/senior level
- Multi-plant Manufacturing experience
- M&A experience highly desired
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Project Management experience required
- International experience
- Solid analytical skills; record of strong continuous learning
- Exposure to Power BI
