We are excited to welcome a creative, dynamic Director of Technology to our team. You are a software developer, architect, technology strategist, and leader. You are solution-focused, results-driven, and resourceful, with a drive for closure. You have a deep understanding of the development cycle and full technology stack. You have experience working on fast-paced projects with short development cycles and minimal documentation. You can design and architect software based on limited input. You have strong analytical, organizational, communication, creative and team-building skills.

The Director of Technology manages and mentors a multisite team of developers in all aspects of application development, maintenance, and DevOps enterprise-wide. You report to and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and business managers. You lead all technology operations in multiple offices worldwide. Responsibilities include strategic technology planning, talent acquisition & development, product development, operations, and some hands-on coding.

People like challenges. Some people like climbing mountains, playing basketball, chess,
or creating a beautiful painting, and so on. We’re fulfilled by achievement—defined: “a
result gained by effort”—especially when it involves a cause bigger than ourselves; a
greater good.

Civicom, like all companies, is a group of people working together to create value for
others. It is therefore an intrinsically good and noble pursuit. And Civicom’s “Buy
Forward” commitment, in which 10% of profits go to charity, makes it even more worthy
of your enthusiastic support. Civicom growth, and your involvement in that process,
allows us to help more people who desperately need help.

So, why take on this challenge? Because you’ll find no greater and more rewarding pursuit
than helping create something remarkable. If you do take it on, not solely because you’re being paid to do it, but also because you’ve chosen to enjoy the challenge itself, you’ll be more fulfilled and we’re more likely to succeed.
