The Director of Operations will report to the Senior Region Vice President and will be responsible for working closely with the SVP, Region Vice Presidents and Branch Management for the division that this role supports. This open position will support Regions 1, 2 and 5.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Identify best practices and improvement processes throughout the organization
Works closely with SVP and RVPs to put best practices in action at target branches
Manage projects and processes for SVP and RVPs
Prepares scorecards and monitors key metrics for driving tangible operational improvement at the branch level
Fill in as acting Branch Manager when and where required
Identify and minimize waste throughout the operations organization
Support new branch operations during start-up process
Support the training of new branch managers
Ensuring all required training efforts are maintained and accomplished for new branch managers
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
70% travel throughout Region 1, 2 and 5
No less than 3 years H&E BM experience
Solid demonstration of operations and sales leadership
Solid demonstration of team building and cooperation with other groups
Proven ability and experience in effectively developing and implementing continuous improvement systems and programs
Ability to communicate complicated matters in a simple way
