Seeking and Admissions Director who is outgoing, driven and customer service oriented to join our team.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years Admissions position experience within the long-term care or related healthcare setting.
· Must have strong sense of urgency, self-motivation and goal-oriented.
· Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities: will include but are not limited to the following:
· Rapid response time to referrals from hospital discharge planners, families and other referral sources.
· Function as the initial contact with residents and families.
· Interview residents or resident’s representative to obtain pertinent personal and financial information to determine eligibility for admission to facility.
· Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents.
· Complete all internal pre-admission paperwork accurately, thoroughly and timely. Distribute to necessary staff.
· Partner with Director of Marketing on maintaining a strong network of referral sources and partners in the community.
· Maintain records and data tracking systems that are required of the Admissions Office.
· Compile and distribute admission paperwork which includes; communicating the admission criteria to referral source, resident, family.
· Meets with resident and resident representative on the day of admission to ensure satisfaction upon arrival and introduction to staff.
· Communicate special needs for new admissions to staff to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.

Experience and qualifications:
- Background in office work, including use of equipment, computer, and processes
- High school diploma
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in skilled care or long term care preferred
- Strong multi-tasking skills, communication skills, and HIPAA compliance track record
