Customer Demand Manager, Wood NA

• Lead Demand Planning activities throughout the defined region to ensure a 2-3 year demand forecast and the DMR is operating
• Key interface between Commercial teams and Supply Chain
• Initiate, develop and lead projects to enhance customer satisfaction
• Work closely with country and/or regional business managers as well as cluster supply chain teams both inside and outside of region to ensure undisrupted supply to customers and markets.
• Assist in deployment of all regional Demand Planning initiatives
• Assist in deployment of the IBP process, coordinating program and resource availability, in particular driving the regional Demand Management review
• Actively participates in ALPS Plan initiatives, in particular driving ALPS IBP, Demand Planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Feedback business or market logistics and planning demands and requirements, and channels to both regional supply chain expert functions or Hub/Cluster Managers
• Customer segmentation and replenishment models including agreeing required service levels
• Leads investigations into complaints related to customer satisfaction

• “Translates” the Sales and Marketing plans into a Sales Demand Plan in the forecasting system
• Build monthly forecast using statistical tool and additional market information, and concentrates on the 4 – 36 months period
• Responsible for master data required to perform statistical forecasting (e.g. corrected history)
• Looks for choosing the most adapted forecasting model per product group and customer group
• Responsible for making sure that all sales area managers and account managers enrich the forecast in time
• Refine forecast based on latest information on a day to day basis
• Identify gaps between target and unconstrained demand plan
• Supports the IBP process in cooperation with BU IBP Lead
• Follow up the forecast accuracy and bias in order to get the required target
• Supports the improvement of the forecasting system
• Ensure forecasts uploaded to enable MRP to execute well and correctly.
• KPI’s driver and reporting i.e. Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Vulnerabilities and Opportunities
• Initiate, develop and lead projects to enhance customer satisfaction
• Lead team of demand planners servicing the commercial units (if applicable)
• Ensure creation of high quality demand plans and ensure adequate forecasting accuracy

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or Science.
• Minimum 5-7 years working experience in Demand Planning /Demand Management
• Analytical, can work independently, excellent communication skills & inter-personal skills.
• Business acumen, understand requirements from internal and external customer and acts upon these
• Stakeholder management; able to manage stakeholders in various functions and levels of the organization
• Coordinating skills; Prioritize and coordinate different requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and solid end to end delivery
• Communication skills; understands and speaks language of internal and external stakeholders
• Language requirements: local language and excellent English skills
• System skills: Familiar with ERP systems: SAP, ORACLE, JDA, Excel, MS Powerpoint
• APICS Certified within the last two years
