Treasury Solutions Revenue & Pricing Analytics Leader
This role is responsible for the comprehensive analytic function in CB TS Revenue Management. The objective is to develop a technology-led analytic framework for integrating revenue management across critical pricing phases including market benchmarks, deal pricing, billing, fee leakage and re-pricing.
This role is for a player/coach able to both drive technology partnerships for analytic products and lead a team overseeing the following:
- Expanding deal pricing analytics
- Managing and expanding the deal pricing benchmark database
- Automating the intake of deal review information and applying price benchmarks to facilitate tracking of contract terms, benchmark pricing, deal volume commitments for improved leakage and ramp reporting
- Determining frameworks for competitive analyses with price benchmarking
- Working with deal pricing tools specialized for individual product areas including IDM, Card, Paymentech, liquidity
- Partnering with key members of the CB Technology, Sales, Business management, Finance and product organization
Enhancing approach for pricing and billing reporting dashboards
- Supporting monthly change dashboards showing account and portfolio changes on volume and price to detect potential errors
- Developing more robust reporting dashboards to support multi-purpose inquiry from client-level to portfolio views of fee leakage
Overseeing management reporting on billing errors, fee leakage- Supporting regular management reporting on pricing exceptions across TS core cash, liquidity and other products, billing errors, and client concessions
- Working with CIB product managers and CB Finance
Managing Price Event modeling
- Managing the annual TS Price Event modeling process applying business rules on service code pricing across account analysis billing accounts in Commercial Banking and other LOBs
- Supporting mass pricing and rate changes through file transfer process with billing operations teams
- Identifying areas of opportunity for improving efficiency and control
Strategic opportunities include designing approach to next-level data environments (partnering on internal data initiatives) and performing ad-hoc strategic analysis
This is accomplished through:
- Command of both structural data solutions and analytic problem solving (baselining, hypothesis testing, drafting straw-man approaches, seeking stakeholder feedback, refining, and socializing/finalizing solutions)
- Partnering with internal stakeholders in technology, product, pricing, sales, banking, service, risk and finance
- Presenting to senior management in Commercial Banking
- Must be a self-starter with a strong vision, creative approach and passion for driving insight
- 15+ years relevant experience in technology, data science, analytics, pricing or financial analysis
- Data science or management consulting experience a plus
- Superior analytical skills â Analyzing data, building scenarios, synthesizing complex information into crisp outputs
- Mastery of Excel, business objects, relational databases such as MS Access; SQL preferred
- Detailed understanding of CB and Treasury Services products
- MBA or MA preferred
