Position Summary: You will have the opportunity to work with audit shareholders with a focus on audit compliance, business consulting, and oversight of various complex projects.
Position Duties:
- You have expertise in at least one specialized industry and seek opportunities for continued learning as it relates to the following industries; operating companies, not-for-profit, government contracting, manufacturing
- You are motivated by business development and providing rewarding client service
- You have demonstrated an expertise focused on audit compliance, business consulting and development
- You are capable of using your economic and business knowledge to facilitate in evaluating your clients ability to continue as a going concern. You are able to use your professional experience and make recommendations for change as it relates to your client’s success
- You care about engagement product quality, thoroughness and accuracy by researching new effective pronouncements and how they will impact client base, presenting financial statements to audit committees (or similar), presenting business advice to client personnel
- You communicate deliverables and results to clients in a clear, accurate and professional manner. You are clear in establishing engagement expectations and needs. You look forward to the opportunity to consult with others to resolve difficult issues and focus team efforts on relevant technical issues.
- You enjoy working in a team setting, where you will often learn from and train your colleagues and are willing to lend a hand to others as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years relevant work experience required
- Current CPA license required
- Previous audit experience in public accounting firm required
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Drive to contribute to a dynamic collaborative team environment
