VP of Sales, West Region
Applause is seeking a VP of Sales, West, to lead an enterprise sales team of 8-12 reps who are selling into Fortune 1000 accounts, new logos, and existing business. Primary Responsibilities:
- As an Enterprise VP of Sales, your team will be selling to our top accounts and working with Fortune 1000 caliber clients
- Responsibilities include selling new business to prospective and existing customers including the activities outlined below:
- Manage sales through forecasting, account strategy, and territory planning
- Drive the development, presentation value proposition to our clients
- Manage complete and complex sales-cycles often presenting to C-level executives the value of our full suite of our offerings
- Actively oversee the recruitment, training, and development of qualified sales professionals.
- Communicate job expectations for your Enterprise team which fosters a collaborative climate. Provides guidance and mentoring.

Requirements:
- 6 years of experience as a Direct VP of sales in SaaS
- 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
- Must have experience selling into enterprise-level organizations
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C level
- Track record of success in enterprise solution sales for software applications with demonstrable proof of over-achieving quota in past positions
- Demonstrate an understanding of the repeatable selling techniques and skills
- Experience managing a team of 8-12 reps closing complex sales-cycles demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Travel required up to 50%
- Demonstrated strong leadership capability with proven experience building and managing dynamic, effective, motivated teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
