Beckman Coulter has is recruiting Sr. Manager (Director), Global Clinical Market Development. This role is located in Brea, CA. The Sr. Manager (Director), Global Clinical Market Development is responsible for coordination and implementation of BEC Global Clinical Market Development process in support of Beckman Coulter’s commercial objectives. Through partnerships with physician and laboratory customers, Global Clinical and Medical/Scientific Affairs, Danaher Market Access team and Geo marketing groups Sr. Manager/Director builds the best clinical market development practices to drive revenue for BEC’s clinically differentiated products and to maximize the impact of these products on overall competitive wins and customer retention in Developed and select High-Growth Markets. Essential Functions: – Leads and project-manages development of BEC Global Clinical Market Development process in alignment with best practices of the medical device, pharmaceutical and IVD industries. Leads execution of Global Marketing component of the process, including but not limited to VOC and business case development, linking upstream strategic planning and marketing claims development to clinical studies execution and downstream commercial and market development activities as a part and extension of the existing IDP, LEX and G-MAX processes. – Partners with Business Units in identification, recruitment and operation of the KOL Clinical Advisory Boards. Supports implementation of clinical publications strategy through partnership with Clinical Affairs, Medical/Scientific Affairs and Market Access teams as well through direct influencing of clinical investigators and Advisory Board members. Leads outreach to Professional Societies, coordinates sponsorship of Continuous Medical Education events. – Partners with Medical/Scientific Affairs, Global Brand and Geo marketing in development of the clinical marketing program throughout product life cycle. Supports implementation of the tactical marketing development programs, including sponsored symposia, user groups, grand rounds sponsorships. #LI-RR1 Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 14+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Doctoral degree with 9+ years of experience. Deep understanding of clinical market development practices in medical device, pharmaceutical or IVD industries. Hands-on experience with design and implementation of the market development processes for novel diagnostic or therapeutic programs. Combination of Strategic and Downstream Marketing experience, detailed understanding of Healthcare landscape, regulatory, reimbursement and operational practices and patient treatment flows across multiple disease states. Ability to identify treatment and diagnostic gaps and position existing products and product concepts within clinical context. Solid command of Marketing methodologies and techniques. Superior project management skills.
