Overview
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Regional Director of Outpatient Operations (Director) shall provide assistance and support to outpatient clinic staff to improve efficiencies in the delivery of care; assuring compliance with payer policy and Valir Health policy in regards to daily documentation, billing and delivery of care to Valir patients.
The Director, working with HR and Clinic Managers, is responsible for the strategy and execution of recruiting for new clinical talent at the university level, as well as for experienced staff as appropriate to maintain coverage of existing needs and to meet future growth needs of VOC.
The Director will also be flexible and available to directly or with qualified assistance fill in at the clinic level across the network as required.
The Director will also work with the Clinic Managers, VP of Outpatient and Director of Non-Clinical Operations to continually improve processes, policies and procedures for the Providers, Front Office staff and support staff across the network.
The Director will also assist the VP of Outpatient in the daily operations of the Outpatient division as needed.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Licenses or Certifications: Licensed PT, or licensure eligible in the State of Oklahoma, Current CPR certification
Total Education, Vocation Training, and Experience: Masters of Science Degree preferred, Bachelors of Science or Arts a must. 5-10 years in a leadership position in healthcare, Outpatient PT in Private Practice setting preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, physicians, support staff, patients, and families. Protect confidentiality in all areas as applicable. Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations in physical and occupational therapy practice. Ability to keep accurate records and write meaningful reports. Ability to execute therapeutic procedures and manipulate special equipment accurately and safely. Ability to analyze data to compare to budget and regional/national norms in regards to practice management and financial analysis. Proven ability to build relationships with and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Position has Full Access to Protected Health Information of patients on caseload.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Indoor climate-controlled environment. Patient care environment with potential exposure to unpleasant odors, to blood and body fluids which may carry infection to infectious disease, and to chemical and electrical hazards. Occasional travel with exposure to outdoor elements.
