We are looking for a hands-on Regional Director of Coaching who will uphold our core values while delivering exceptional Soccer leadership. As the GPS DOC, you will be responsible for the day to day running of your specific region. This will include ensuring the professional delivery of all elements of the GPS soccer provision, in conjunction with the GPS MA DOC.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Staffing – responsible for placement of all staff to ensure efficiency in staffing plan.
  • Recruitment and retention of coaching staff to provide consistency and quality of delivery
  • Implement coach evaluation process, to ensure that all coaches receive ongoing & consistent performance based feedback that is in line with the GPS coaching/style of play. Engage fully with PT staff as well as FT staff.
  • Ensure that staff have a coaching growth plan and provide support to the delivery & content of the staff enrichment program
  • Recruitment of new players for the premier program; via leads that are generated via the marketing dept & identifying players at competing clubs through scouting. Create a recruitment list per age group
  • Ensure that feedback is provided on an ongoing basis & in line with the competitive calendar, both at the end of the spring & fall seasons. This feedback should be designed to retain players & grow the club player numbers
  • Ensure through clear, consistent & professional communication that all parents are clear in their understanding of the role parents play in the development of their children. The opportunities available & the expectations placed on parents with regards to practice & game day.
  • Build new partnerships with town programs, parks and recreation departments and any other vendor that offers soccer programming
  • Drive the marketing, recruitment & registration of participants in the Camps, vacation & Grassroots Programs
