The successful candidate will work directly with corporate and field-based management to ensure construction deliverables are met and profit margins are in line with Company standards. He or she will need to have previous pipeline construction experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience directly managing O&G construction projects. Travel will be required up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in bidding and estimating projects in the Permian Basin.
· Assist in procurement of material, equipment and sub-contractor services.
· Identify and quantify any changes to the S.O.W (Change orders).
· Develop and distribute client specific reporting.
· Track and monitor field metrics to ensure production rates are being met and quantities and being billed accurately.
· Create, maintain and update all one calls for current projects.
· Participate in monthly field-based safety meetings.
· Perform field safety audits on a weekly basis.
· Responsible for creating invoices and collecting AR for all projects.
· Manage all 3rd party payables to ensure prompt payment.
· Responsible for project specific payroll.
· Assist in P.O. distribution as well as reconciliation of all spend throughout the project.
· Report and escalate to management as needed.
· Manage client relationships across all accounts.
· Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
· Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree & three (3) years of directly related project management experience in O&G construction.
· Proven working experience with references.
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Projects and Excel.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus, but not required.
